Suitable For
The material 1.4006 is a stainless martensitic steel, which shows good mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance in moderately aggressive media. Field of application: connecting parts, mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, hydraulic engineering, petroleum industry, structural parts in water and steam and mildly aggressive media of the food industry as well as gun barrels.
